Meeting of Shareholders of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., held today,
30th of June of 2000, in Bilbao, has approved the merger by absorption of Banco
del Comercio, S.A., and Banco de Negocios Argentaria, S.A., by Banco Bilbao
Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A.
