Balfour Beatty plc ('the Company') today received notice from CGNU plc on
behalf of Norwich Union Investment Management Limited ('NUIM'), that NUIM have
a material notifiable interest in 33,441,392 50p Ordinary Shares of the
Company, representing 7.96% of the issued ordinary share capital of the
Company. The aggregate holding of CGNU plc is also 33,441,392 50p Ordinary
Shares.
