Schroder UK Growth Fund plc (the 'Company') announces that on 28 June 2007 the
Company purchased 500,000 shares at a price of 149.00 pence per share to be held
in treasury.  The number of shares in issue is 156,526,900 (excluding 6,649,000
shares held in treasury).
