Retirement of Director

Schroder UK Growth Fund plc (the "Company") announces that Mrs Stella Pirie retired as a Director of the Company and did not seek re-election at the Annual General Meeting held earlier today.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Stella for her invaluable contribution to the Company during her 15 year tenure as a Director.
