PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 1 November 2000, the Company
purchased 100,000 shares for cancellation, at a price of 143.50 pence per
share. Following the purchase, there are a further 198,960,263 shares in
issue.
