PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 3 January 2001, the Company
purchased a total of 55,000 shares for cancellation at a price of 133.50 pence
per share. Following these purchases, there are a further 195,110,263 shares in
issue.
