PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 11 December 2000, the Company
purchased a total of 400,000 shares for cancellation at a price of 140.00 pence
per share. Following these purchases, there are a further 196,005,263 shares in
issue.
