PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 22 November 2000, the Company
purchased a total of 185,000 shares for cancellation, 140,000 at a price of
140.50 pence per share and 45,000 at 138.50 pence per share. Following these
purchases, there are a further 197,465,263 shares in issue.
