PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 11 September 2000, the Company
purchased 95,000 shares for cancellation, at a price of 154.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 201,938,263 shares in issue.
