PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 13 December 2000, the Company
purchased a total of 40,000 shares for cancellation at a price of 139.50 pence
per share. Following these purchases, there are a further 195,880,263 shares in
issue.
