PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 11 July 2000, the Company
purchased 47,571 shares for cancellation, at a price of 150.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 203,688,793 shares in issue.
