PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 10 July 2000, the Company
purchased 176,896 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 150.48 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 203,736,364 shares in
issue.
