PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 24 October 2000, the Company
purchased 150,000 shares for cancellation, at a price of 142.50 pence per
share. Following the purchase, there are a further 199,295,263 shares in
issue.
