PURCHASE OF SHARE FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 28 February 2000, the Company
purchased 177,593 shares for cancellation, at a price of 139.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 213,103,571 shares in issue.
