PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 15 February 2000, the Company
purchased 361,438 shares for cancellation, at a price of 136.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 213,522,394 shares in issue.
