PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 29 March 2000, the Company
purchased 209,271 shares for cancellation, at a price of 161.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 208,940,695 shares in issue.
