PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 31 May 2000, the Company purchased
106,507 shares for cancellation, at a price of 144.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 206,533,271 shares in issue.
