PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 22 March 2000, the Company
purchased 146,538 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 163.53 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 209,363,966 shares in
issue.
