PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 14 June 2000, the Company
purchased 96,629 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 152.19 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 205,342,526 shares in
issue.
