PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 13 June 2000, the Company
purchased 93,065 shares for cancellation, at a price of 151.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 205,439,155 shares in issue.
