PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund Plc announces that on 16 March 2000, the Company
purchased 175,450 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 158.45 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 210,108,579 shares in
issue.
