PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 15 March 2000, the Company
purchased 758,122 shares for cancellation, at a price of 156.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 210,284,029 shares in issue.
