PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 8 March 2000, the Company
purchased 190,594 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 150.71 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 211,761,458 shares in
issue.
