PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 25 October 1999, the Company
purchased 72,245 shares for cancellation, at a price of 138.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 222,110,115 shares in issue.
