The issuer advises that the following replaces the Purchase of Own Securities
released today at 10.26am under RNS number 5019T.

The number of ordinary shares that remain in issue should read 63,335,000 and
not 63,350,000 as previously shown.

On 22 March 2002, the Company purchased for cancellation 140,000 ordinary shares
at a price of 109.50p, bringing the total number of ordinary shares bought back
to 315,000.

There remain 63,335,000 ordinary shares in issue.
