Babcock International Group PLC 13 September 2007 13 September 2007 Babcock International Group PLC ('Babcock' or the 'Group') Award of £45 million Facilities Management Contract Babcock International Group PLC, the support services company, announces that Debut Services Ltd, its joint venture company with Bovis Lend Lease, has been awarded a contract by the UK Ministry of Defence for the Bristol Bath Total Facilities Management project (BB TFM), covering the MoD sites at Abbeywood, Ensleigh, Foxhill, Warminster Road, Corsham Computer Centre and Westbury-on-Trym. The sites included within the BB TFM project have a combined customer occupancy of over 10,000 MoD personnel. Babcock will provide both 'hard' and 'soft' facilities management services at these locations. The BB TFM project, worth in excess of £45 million to Babcock over a three year period, with an option for the MoD to extend for a further three years, will be integrated into the Regional Prime Contract South West (RPC SW) already managed by Debut Services Ltd. Service delivery is due to commence in December 2007. The existing RPC SW contract commenced in March 2004 and is worth approximately £500 million over its seven year period. The contract covers estate management services for almost 200 sites and encompasses some 9,000 assets within the southwest region. The seven-year contract started March 2004 and includes facilities management services across a broad property portfolio including airfields and training establishments and a framework arrangement for the design and construction of new projects across the estate.
