                Intermodal Resource plc ('Intermodal Resource')
         acquires outstanding 49% of Asset Care Transport Solutions Ltd

Intermodal Resource, the swap body, road trailer and truck contract hire group
announces that for a consideration of £25,000 it has acquired the remaining 49%
of the issued share capital of Asset Care Transport Solutions Ltd, the trailer
rental industry's first online maintenance management service.

Assetcare was launched in January 2005 and is a tailor-made service designed to
ensure its clients comply with VOSA 'O' License maintenance requirements through
the management and online documentation of repairs and inspections.

Managing Director Ken Mills will continue to oversee the business which
currently services over 800 vehicles.

This investment reinforces Intermodal Resource's comprehensive maintenance
package and continues the current strategy of developing the Group's businesses
through the creation of added value.
