Axis Intermodal received notification on 19 September 2008 from Barclays PLC that, following the disposal of 986,886 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') on 16 September 2008, Barclays Stockbrokers Limited is interested in 6,321,805 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 10.74 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
