               AVIVA CONFIRMS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CHANGE



Aviva plc announced on 18 March that Anna Catalano would not be seeking election
by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting ('AGM').  Accordingly
Mrs Anna Catalano ceased to be a director of Aviva plc with effect from the
close of the Company's AGM yesterday.
