Aviva announces that a Restricted Share Award was made to Andrew John Moss on 10
May 2004 on his appointment as Group Finance Director.  Under the Award, which
was previously announced on 29 January 2004, 103,846 Aviva shares will be held
in Trust and will vest in tranches on 31 October 2004, 31 December 2005 and 31
December 2006.  The Award was made with reference to the closing mid market
price of Aviva shares on 10 May 2004 (520p).
