Results of Extraordinary General Meeting
18 July 2003.

Avingtrans plc ('the Company') today announces that, at the Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Company held on 17 July 2003, the resolution to approve
the cancellation of the Company's Share Premium Account was duly passed.

The relevant documents will now be filed with the High Court of Justice Chancery
Division on 28 July 2003 with the final hearing scheduled to take place on 20
August 2003.
