Equities Index Unsecured Loan Stock 2013 ('Equities Index Stock')

British Empire Securities and General Trust plc announces that it has today bought back 45,000 units of its Equities Index Stock for cancellation at a price of 195.0 pence per unit.  

Following this purchase, there are 2,584,457 units of the Company's Equities Index Stock remaining in issue.
