Buy-back of 10.375% Debenture Stock 2011

British Empire Securities and General Trust plc announces that it has today bought back £31,500 in nominal value of its 10.375% Debenture Stock 2011 for cancellation at a price of £1.1525 per unit plus 54 day's accrued interest.

Following this buy-back there is £8,483,440 in nominal value of the 10.375% Debenture Stock 2011 remaining in issue. The Debenture Stock does not carry any entitlement to vote.
