The Board announces that the rate (gross of income tax) on the Index Loan
Stock for the quarter ended 30 June 2000 is 1.529p per unit calculated on a
net dividend basis, equivalent to £15.29 per 1,000. The record date is 30
June 2000 and the payment date is 10 July 2000.
