REPOSITIONING OF THOMAS COOK AIRCRAFT

Avation PLC (LSE: AVAP) the commercial passenger aircraft leasing company confirms that it had leased two Airbus A321 aircraft to Thomas Cook Airlines Limited, these have been repossessed and ferried from Manchester and Gatwick to an aircraft Maintenance and Repair Organisation outside of the UK.  These two aircraft will undergo routine calendar airframe maintenance checks. The aircraft will be marketed and delivered to another airline in due course.

Jeff Chatfield, Executive Chairman said "Avation is pleased with the success of our technical team in quickly repossessing and repositioning the two aircraft previously operated by Thomas Cook. These two Airbus A321 aircraft are relatively new at approximately 3.5 years old and in our view are in superb condition. They will be marketed globally in a state fresh from a 2C airframe check and we anticipate them being in high demand amongst airlines."
