Transaction in Own Shares

Aurora Investment  Trust plc  announces  that on  14th May  2008,  it
purchased 75,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at  171.00p
per share.  These shares will be cancelled.  In addition, the Company
is cancelling a further 8,333 shares previously held in Treasury,  in
order to maintain the correct balance between shares held in Treasury
and the total in issue.

Following the cancellations, the Company's issued share capital  will
be 14,391,389 ordinary shares.  A  total of 1,439,139 shares will  be
held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with
voting rights in the Company will be 12,952,250.
