Appointment of director

Aurora Investment Trust ("the Company") announces the appointment today of Richard Martin as a non-executive director.  Mr Martin will join the other members of the Board in conducting a strategic review of the Company's activities.

Mr Martin is a strategic adviser to (and former CIO of) T. Bailey Asset Management Ltd and is a non-executive director of:

F & C Managed Portfolio Trust plc (chairman)

Invesco Perpetual AIM VCT plc

Montenaro European Smaller Companies Trust plc   

Meghraj Properties Ltd (chairman)

Mr Martin does not currently hold any shares in the Company.
