ARAM RESOURCES PLC ('ARAM RESOURCES' OR 'THE COMPANY')

Following the offer by Colas Ltd for Aram Resources becoming unconditional, as
announced on 5 December 2000, an application has been made for the trading
facility in the Company's shares on AIM to be cancelled. Such cancellation
will take effect from 9 January 2001.
