Ardana plc: Disclosure of interests in shares



 Ardana plc (the 'Company') was informed on 22 September 2005 pursuant to
Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 that as at the close of its business on 21
September 2005, UBS AG, acting through its business group and legal entities
detailed below, had a material interest in 2,346,243 ordinary shares of 1 p each
of the Company, representing 4.22 per cent of the issued share capital of the
Company (55,562,806 ordinary shares currently in issue).



The Company was informed that none of the Relevant Shares are shares in which
UBS AG is interested by virtue of Section 208 (5) of the Act.
