                           Director's Shareholdings                           


The Company was notified on 16 March 2000 that one of its directors, Mr G C
Harwood, sold 59,120 ordinary shares in the Company on 16 March 2000 at 22p
per share.  

This follows the transaction announced on 15 March 2000 in which Mr Harwood
and his wife each purchased 29,560 shares in the Company.  These shares have
been transferred into Mr and Mrs Harwood's 1999/2000 Investment Savings
Account.

Mr Harwood is now interested in 2,023,049 shares in Aukett, unchanged from
immediately before the above transactions and representing 2.80% of Aukett's
issued share capital.
