                            RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

John Thake, Managing Director - European Operations, has announced his intention
to resign his directorships and leave Aukett with effect from the 31 December
2002. He has made a major contribution to the Group over the past 28 years and,
in more recent years, the establishment of Aukett as one of the leading European
firms of architects and engineers.
