APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

Aukett Group Plc are pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Carter as
Group Finance Director with immediate effect.

Patrick has been with the Group from the summer of 2001 and was appointed Deputy
Finance Director and Company Secretary in May 2002. He has been directly
involved in addressing the challenges facing the revised management team as
referred to in the Group's half-year statement issued in May of this year. He
brings to the position a wide range of professional skills and experience having
become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales
whilst with Deloitte and Touche in London and having previously trained in law
and qualified as a barrister.

There are no relevant details required to be disclosed under paragraph 6.F.2 (b)
to (g) and 16.4 (a) of the UKLA Listing Rules.
