Additional Listing

Options over 62,708 ordinary shares in the Company were exercised by John
Thake, a director of the Aukett, under the Company's Executive Share Option
Schemes on 12 January 2001, at an exercise price of 5.103p per share.

In addition, further options over 145,545 ordinary shares were subscribed by
employees of the Company, details as follows:

7,839 options exercised at 7p on 02.01.01

15,676 options exercised at 5.103p on 02.01.01

47,030 options exercised at 5.103p on 07.01.01

75,000 options exercised at 3.25p on 07.01.01

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for 208,253 new ordinary shares, which rank pari passu with existing
ordinary shares, to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that
admission will become effective and dealings will commence on 18 January 2001.



Director's Shareholding

Following this exercise of options and listing, Mr Thake is now interested in
1,570,726 ordinary shares in Aukett, which represents 2.17% of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital.
