Aukett Fitzroy Robinson Group Plc ('AFRG' or the 'Company')
Change of Directorate
Aukett Fitzroy Robinson Group Plc ('AFRG'; ticker: AUK.L), the international
architectural practice, with offices in the UK, Russia, and Europe, announces
that Mr Patrick Carter, Group Finance Director, is to leave the Company by
mutual consent, effective from 12th April 2007. He is to take up a similar
position with a quoted consultancy practice, but in a different market sector
from that of AFRG.
Mr. Carter, aged 37, joined Aukett Group plc in June 2001 as Group Financial
Controller and was promoted to Group Finance Director in October 2002. He became
Group Finance Director of the enlarged company in April 2005 following the
merger of Aukett Group with the then privately-owned Fitzroy Robinson Group.
For the immediate future, Mr Lad, AFRG's financial controller, will take
over responsibility for Mr Carter's position and report directly to Nicholas
Thompson, AFRG's Chief Executive. Mr. Lad has been at AFRG since 2000.
AFRG has appointed Financial Professionals, an executive search firm, which is
part of the Hydrogen Group to find a replacement for Mr. Carter. A short list of
candidates has been compiled.
Trading at AFRG is in line with management and current market expectations for
the six months to end 31 March 2007 and for the 12 months to end 30 September
2007.
The interim results for AFRG will be announced in June 2007. As previously
stated by the Company: 'The UK and overseas markets for commercial architects
remain buoyant.' At the AGM held today all resolutions were duly passed.
Said Nicholas Thompson: 'I would like to thank Patrick for the contributions he
made during the merger process - which created one of only two quoted such
companies on the stock market - and since then. We wish him every success for
the future.'
