AUKETT ASSOCIATES PLC

CHANGE OF GROUP NAME; CONTRACT GAINS


Aukett Associates PLC, the international architecture, design and engineering
Group, is to change its name to Aukett Group Plc, with effect from 7 February
2001, following approval at an EGM held immediately after the company's AGM
held today in London.  The Board believes the new name better reflects the
structure and strategy of the Group, which now has 15 offices in 10 European
countries, and is consistent with the Aukett Europe trading name introduced
for all these offices last year.

The Group continues to win commissions throughout Europe, including the
following projects which are expected to generate approximately £6 million in
fees during the current and next financial year:


-   Pan-European contracts for the design of TV studios and offices for TV home 
    shopping company, HOT

-   A fit out project for Cisco Systems in Frankfurt 

-   The refurbishment of a business centre for Polaroid, near Glasgow

-   Two new build projects with business space developer Akeler in the UK

-   Four shopping centres throughout the Czech Republic for the Engel Group and 
    an additional one in Slovakia for TK Developments

-   Internet gateway facilities in France for Metronexus
