MANPOWER SOFTWARE PLC ('the Company')

NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES


The Company has today been notified that Electra Quoted Management Limited ('
EQML') has acquired 200,000 5p ordinary shares in the Company, representing
1.46 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

EQML now has a total interest in 700,000 5p ordinary shares of the Company,
representing 5.12 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

The shares are registered in the name of Clydesdale Bank (Custodian Nominees)
Limited a/c ESP.
