                           ANNUAL INFORMATION UPDATE


As required under the Prospectus (Directive 2003/71/EC) Regulations 2005
and paragraph 5.2 of the Prospectus Rules, and following publication of the
Annual Report and Form 20-F Information on 28 February 2006, AstraZeneca
PLC is presenting its first Annual Information Update in relation to information
