NOTICE OF INTERIM RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2003



Amlin plc, the leading Lloyd's insurer, will be announcing its interim results
for the six months ended 30 June 2003 on Thursday 4 September 2003.


An analysts' meeting will be held at midday on Thursday 4 September 2003 at
Amlin's head office, 10th Floor, St Helen's, 1 Undershaft, London, EC3A 8ND.
Analysts who wish to attend and who have not received formal notification should

wishing to take part in the conference call and/or webcast, should also contact
