Notification of shareholding in company


Amlin announces that it has been notified by Prudential plc, in accordance with
Part VI of the Companies Act, that neither Prudential plc nor any of its
subsidiary companies any longer has a notifiable interest in the share capital
of Amlin. The previous notified interest of Prudential plc had been over
11,184,745 ordinary shares (3.01% of Amlin's shares in issue).
