                         PAYMENT OF PROPOSED DIVIDEND


The issuer advises that the following replaces the 'Dividend Payment Details'
announcement released today, 26 April 2001 at 08:43, under RNS No. 6571C.

The proposed final dividend is 2.6p per share and not 4p as previously stated,
bringing the total dividend for the year 2000 to 4.0p. The proposed final
dividend will be paid on 3 July 2001 to shareholders on the register on 4 May
2001.

All other details remain unchanged.
